Nope, it's not GCC's fault. You prevent the loading of <linux/suspend.h> if CONFIG_SOFTWARE_SUSPEND is not set in kernel/sched.h . This is wrong since it is already taken care of inside linux/suspend.h which defines TASK_SUSPENDED as (0) if CONFIG_SOFTWARE_SUSPEND is not set (and a bunch of other things too). I know I should have sent a patch, but I'm too lazy...

I think it's a problem with gcc3.3 or so. With gcc-2.95 i solved that.
