ImfSystemSpecific.h uses posix_memalign without much checking. On Solaris 10, compilation fails because posix_memalign is unknown:

libtool: compile: g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../config -D_REENTRANT -I/pkgsrc/source/pkgsrc/graphics/openexr/work.pkgsrc-i86/.buildlink/include/OpenEXR -I.. -I/pkgsrc/source/pkgsrc/graphics/openexr/work.pkgsrc-i86/.buildlink/include -pipe -O -MT ImfTileDescriptionAttribute.lo -MD -MP -MF .deps/ImfTileDescriptionAttribute.Tpo -c ImfTileDescriptionAttribute.cpp -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/ImfTileDescriptionAttribute.o
In file included from ImfOptimizedPixelReading.h:57:0,
from ImfScanLineInputFile.cpp:61:
ImfSystemSpecific.h: In function 'void* Imf_2_0::EXRAllocAligned(uint_t, uint_t)':
ImfSystemSpecific.h:64:41: error: 'posix_memalign' was not declared in this scope
gmake[2]: *** [ImfScanLineInputFile.lo] Error 1
