Hi,

suppressing all infos is easy. I will include it in the next release.

Hey!

I would also love to see something like suppressInfo. It would keep the logfile more tidy.

Thank you for the quick reply.

1) I think that's a good solution, I would appreciate this.

2) From my personal point of view, apart from the "blocked file" messages I'm fine.

Probably other users might want to have some additional control about the output.

The only other issue are the lines like (for --keepRelative
 option)
INFO      2015.08.04 21:47:05  4225    (13) Mon 2015.06.01_18.41.25 (64d3h): 40d to 50d (candidate), 50d to 60d (candidate), 60d to 80d (candidate)
These could be very extensive, when there are lots of time intervals specified (and I have a different setting with more than in this example). I would like to keep one line for each backup and have no idea about the perfect solution. Probably having an option just to print the first and the last candidate time interval? This might be sufficient for having an overview.

First of all, it's a good idea to upgrade - beside functional enhancements there a several bug fixes.

You may find the INFO lines about blocked files useful or not - up to now there's no way to suppress them (beside changing the code).

storeBackup.pl has an option called suppressWarning where you can select several different warnings so they are not printed.
Maybe it's a good idea to introduce something called suppressInfo to do the same with some more or less useful infos!?

1. What do you think about this?
2. If you think it's a good idea and fits to your needs - are there other info lines you would be able to suppress?

Hello,

I'm using storeBackup for a couple of years now and it does exactly what I want. Thank you also from my side for this great tool.

Now I updated from version 3.2.1 to 3.5 and recognize additional screen outputs (so I can't say if it's really new)

Additionally to the usual messages like
INFO      2015.08.01 16:23:49 16146 start reading .../2015.07.19_13.01.34/.md5CheckSums
INFO      2015.08.01 16:23:52 16146 finished reading .../2015.07.19_13.01.34/.md5CheckSums (90306 entries)

There are now messages like
INFO      2015.08.01 16:23:52 16146   start reading blocked file ...
INFO      2015.08.01 16:23:52 16146   finished reading blocked file ...

Is this really intended?
Is there any possibility to suppress these messages?

For me there is no benefit, and as this can be a LOT of lines, I might miss some more important messages.
