Hi,

the inodes of the files in the backup are stored only for historical reasons ;-) .
The are not used and will not be used in the future. The only reason for them still being there is that I don't want to change the format for the.md5CheckSum file.

So you can copy the backup(s) however you want.

Hello

Since inode numbers are stored in .md5CheckSums.bz2 it does not seem to be wise to rsync a backup directory to a new filesystem.

Is there a way to do this?
