There is a page in the wiki [1] that gives more information about this issue, a list of documents identified as free, and actions to be taken.

"We also need people to look inside debian for documentation released under GNU Free Documentation License in the non-free repository. That documentation is free software and we need to put it back in gnewsense."

This task has been imported from the Documentation Team [1] tasks and did not provide more information.

Questions about this task:

  • Should we look inside Debian contrib and non-free repositories?
  • Where do we document the list of free documentation we find?
  • How do we put the documentation back into gNewSense?
