I believe this is a duplicate of something that was posted awhile ago.

Task summery: "When doing channel completion would it be possible to start with the active channel buffer when using #<tab>, it seems like that would be better than starting with the A's and tabbing alphabetically when no character is given to begin the tab completion."

It would be nice that the command /join #channel (and maybe /part too) completes the channels of the active server first (the one whom the channel is active).

The current configuration makes the completion stating alphabetically among all channels/server connected.

eg: server1

current active buffer is #channel2 : /join [tab] → #channel1,channel1.1,#channel2,#channel2.2,#channel1,#channel1.1

It would be great if the completion starts alphabetically at the channel of the current active buffer of that server.

desired behavior:

current active buffer is #channel2 : /join [tab] → #channel2,#channel2.2,#channel1,#channel1.1,#channel2,#channel2.2
