They still don't always commit correctly.
Sometimes that works just right (or some entries stay around for several seconds, then disappear correctly), but sometimes some entries are stuck in "done" list and cannot be commited (the file(s) are ok, through).

I've see very weird thing happening, like files with numbers appended to their name (like is done to avoid clashes) appearing for a short while, then being replaced by the correct name, etc, etc, so it seems that lots of different mecanisms are competiting at commit time, result depending on luck. Good luck for debugging...

I think swarming isn't implemented in the gui's yet, because it wasn't relyable (for instance that not all downloads were removed after commit). However this has changed by now, so we might want to push the gui people to implement this.

Yes, that's exactly what I mean, lphant aclaims to be the first p2p client with that feature, I think it's the second one :)

It's strange I didn't hear about this feature before, neither I have seen it implemented in GUIs (at least kmldonkey/sancho)

Thnaks for the tip!

You mean swarming, as implemented since 2.5.17, or something else ?

This feature is allready implemented in lphant client, most files in BT are also shared on ed2k network,so it would be great if you could download a file simultaneously from both networks

I have read implementing this on multifiles torrents it's a very hard task, but easy on single file torrents, I think it worths it
