We want an option to show the other player during a networked game. This should be entirely non-mandatory for those that want to hide exactly how they play, but a lot of users would like this feature.
This depends on the general feature for displaying other players.
This task was part of the motivation for moving to ENet. We can send information about the current state of the board on one of the unreliable channels.
This feature should be optional, so when a flag (e.g., -noreveal) is set no information about your board is transmitted to the other player. If your client detects that the other side isn't transmitting its board, then the client should stop transmitting the information as well. We'll make it a share and share-alike system.
