This restriction of modules on the canvas was added specifically at the request of thorwil.

Plugins that have too many ports to fit on the canvas (WhySynth for example) can not be moved vertically at all in om_gtk. This means that the ports that are outside the canvas will stay outside the canvas, and can never be connected using the GUI.
