Unfortunately I cannot reproduce this on Linux or MacOS. Have you made sure to choose the file format from the Save as dialog's file format dropdown? See attached screenshot.

If you've double checked you've selected the correct file format, which Qt version are you building against?

I've retried with 1.1.3 and that is still the same. Tutka appends a .tutka to the exported file, even if that's a Octamed or a MIDI one.

In the hope that it'll be fixed, thanks for tutka.

I'm packaging tutka 1.1.2 for LibraZiK-2 and I just tested the fix for the 1.1.1 bug I reported to you through email about Tutka not adding the .tutka extension when saving a file as a tutka file.

It works fine now. Thanks for that, it'll help new users not to be confused.

But (yes, there is a "but"), if I try to save a file as an Octamed or a MIDI one, Tutka still adds a .tutka file extension which is confusing.

I hope this bug report helps.
