It also looks like a fairly "independent" task that a contributor could easily pick up.

Considering my current load, I don't think I'll be able to deliver this as part of the next release. This could be a nice task for me to work on, though... to dive into the web side of our world.

This would be a nice feature indeed, to integrate in the wizard somehow (just after selecting the city in the suggestion list, or at the end with the summary?).
