Hello again!
i removed cache using
$ sudo rm -r /var/cache/davfs2/webdav.yandex.ru+mnt-testing-yandex1+acuifex/

and i've mounted like this:
$ sudo mount -t davfs https://webdav.yandex.ru /mnt/testing/yandex1/ -o gid=acuifex,uid=acuifex

when copying 10 MiB file the issue persists and by the look of net usage graph it seems like it's reuploading the file every 30-60 seconds.

with 168 KiB file it works kinda fine

after remounting the 10 MiB file appears in the web interface and uploading 168 KiB file still works fine.

i attached log for the first mount as "newreport.log" and for the second one as "newreport2.log" (or at least i hope that i did)

p.s. thanks for the recommendation, i will look into it.

davfs2 is single threaded. When it starts to upload a file then it will do nothing else until the file is successfully transfered. You must not kill it. How long it takes to upload a file depends on the size of the file and the speed of the connection and the server. You may need to be patient.

If this was the first time you used davfs2 you should test whether davfs2 and the server interoperate successfully with one single and small file. You should use some other channel to test whether the file was correctly transferred to the server.

I wonder why there are 10 files with 281 MiBytes in the cache? You might delete the cache directory for that mount.

You must not misuse option "username=" in this way. Please see "man mount.davfs" for details.

If you only want to copy files to and from a server and not to open files with some software to edit this file then you will probably be better off with either cadaver (a FTP-like program) or the WebDAV module of your graphical file manager.

Hello! i'm trying to implement united web storage with yandex disks but davfs freezes after copying 98'325'084 byte file in the mount and i can't do anything except killing davfs process.
the file doesn't appear in the web interface.
i edited the syslog a bit for size and privacy and attached it bellow.

System specs:
xubuntu 18.04
intel i3 3240
$ uname -a
Linux acuifex-System 5.4.0-67-generic #75~18.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Tue Feb 23 19:17:50 UTC 2021 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Here are steps i'm taking for that to happen:

/mnt/testing$ echo "password" | sudo mount -t davfs https://webdav.yandex.ru /mnt/testing/yandex1/ -o username="notyourbusiness@mydomain.com",gid=acuifex,uid=acuifex
/mnt/testing$ cp /hdd/session-desktop-linux-x86_64-1.4.4.AppImage ./yandex1/
/mnt/testing$ ls
/mnt/testing$ cd yandex1/
/mnt/testing/yandex1$ ls
lost+found  session-desktop-linux-x86_64-1.4.4.AppImage  Zu8rsGbyhKpY9Rv3w1-pemOW # last file is encfs encrypted file
/mnt/testing/yandex1$ cd .. # freezes here and i can't access the web drive for about a minute or so.

p.s. English is not my native language. sorry for any logical/grammatical errors
