As a workaround, you can put the following in your ~/.config/startup.py:
if pf.console: pf.console.runSource('from pyformex.gui.draw import *')
The startup.py (if it exists) is executed as first script on starting pyFormex.
Because the console is experimental? ;) No, seriously, it is supposed to load all the pyFormex Globals (which includes draw* if the gui is loaded), but I guess that because the console is loaded before the gui is operational, the draw* symbols are not included. So this is a bug and it should be fixed indeed.
in the console this module has to be imported explicitely can be imported by default?
