What version of spamass-milter?  All known crashing bugs have been fixed in CVS.

I'm running Fedora Core 3 + sendmail 8.13+ spamassassin 3.0.1
+ spamass-milter

Spamass-milter seems to run fine until i removed "-m" option in EXTRA_FLAGS variable of the service file.

In removed "-m" option cause it was preventing spamassassin to rename message subject when SPAM.

Could you tell if it's why when this option is not present, spamass-milter die ?

P.S. when spamass-milter die, sendmail continue to route mails to internal Domino server.

there is the errors in the mail log.

milter_read(spamassassin): cmd read returned 0, expecting 5

Milter (spamassassin): to error state
 to=<calvelo@sjpc.com>, delay=00:00:09, xdelay=00:00:04, mailer=smtp, pri=120021, relay=[192.168.0.4] [192.168.0.4], dsn=2.0.0, stat=Sent (Message received OK.)

Milter (spamassassin): error connecting to filter: Connection refused by /var/run/spamass.sock
