My guess is that Mozilla is adding the "Status: O" header; you can ignore it anyhow, it's a standard mailbox header.

As for spamass-milter exiting with status 0, The only way that will happen is on a clean shutdown (i.e. sending it a SIGINT or SIGTERM).  I'd check /var/log/maillog around that same time.  You'll probably see something like "spamass-milter 0.3.0 exiting" at the same time you got the email.   Maybe you upgraded some other package related to sendmail, and your OS restarts sendmail and all milters at the same time?

spamass-milter exited at Thu Sep 22 14:28:19 EDT 2005 with status 0
You may wish to check /var/log/messages and/or /var/log/maillog

Everything seems to be running ok It is that I just get these messages every couple days and don't know how to correct the problem.

Thanks,
Matt

Where are you seeing this message?  That's not being generated by spamass-milter itself.

"Status: O" (note that's an Oh, not a Zero) in an email header just means you're using a mailreader that can keep track of whether unsread messages have just arrived (N) or have been sitting in the mailbox for a while (O).  Mutt can add this header, for example.

I keep getting the following error:

spamass-milter exited at Thu Sep 22 14:28:19 EDT 2005 with status 0
You may wish to check /var/log/messages and/or /var/log/maillog

I am running:
spamass-milter Ver. 0.3.0
sendmail Ver. 8.13.4
ClamAV Ver. 0.87

This status O also shows up in the mail header. How do I clear the status? What causes it? what does it mean? The system just goes on running the mails are scanned. I just can not find anything on the web that explains this status.

Any help is appriciated.

Thanks,
Matt
