I tried using the -i option for some days, but the following things turned up:
- Not all messages from that relay are actually scanned by SA (I didn't notice that before).
- I also use the -r option to reject spam over 20 points (which I neglected to mention before), and that does not work anymore.

Perhaps re-scanning can be avoided if there are already SA tags indicating the mail has at least n points? No sane spammer would forge those :) It would not prevent re-scanning all mails, but as it is now, in most of the cases it would help for me.

I think that would make it too easy for spammers to bypass your filter by just adding fake spamassassin headers.  Adding the IPs of your trusted email servers to spamass-milter's ignore list with the -i commandline option should do what you want.

Some of my mail comes in through a number of relays that already filter and tag the mail with SA. In that case it would not be necessary to run SA again.
Is it possible (or could it be made) to skip filtering a message if SA headers are already present (and perhaps if the hostname contains some substring)?
